Hot and Cold: Jovovich Hawk Dress

I’m getting good use out of my floral Jovovich-Hawk dress. I recently wore it to work and styled it with orange tights and yellow shoes. I got the color inspiration from a kids’ painting easel that I saw in a children’s store in a mall.

I put on my dress added a brown belt. When I left the house, I realized how cold it was! It’s almost summer, but it’s still chilly in Seattle in the mornings. Seems strange since the rest of the country is in the middle of a heat wave. I grabbed my go-to safari jacket and warmed up the outfit, proving that this Jovovich-Hawk dress is a three-season number.

I love the shoes!!! Yellow looks so funky and sunny! I have a dozen red shoes because I have always loved red shoes, but I don’t have any yellow ones – time to go shopping and find a pair of yellow sandals!

BTW – temperature is in the mid 80’s in southern Ontario. Too hot for tights and jackets!

  2. I absolutely love the color combination! I think one okay side-effect of Seattle still being chilly is that I still see cute tights everywhere. 🙂

  3. I love the tights and shoes! These posts of the different stylings of the dresses have been wonderful.

    • Thanks everyone! I’m trying to get as many looks out of each piece as possible 🙂 I appreciate the comments. Apparently, the weather will be too nice for tights this weekend. We’ll see what style inspiration it brings.

  4. I love this entire look from head to toe! I adore this dress, but I think my BFF thought I was crazy for liking it so I didn’t get it. Still wishing I had just gone for it!! Loving the new blog layout, too! So much easier to enjoy.
