This past Saturday I got to meet other style bloggers in person. It was a great day. I love the blogging community but until now, I’ve been behind my PC writing, collaborating, sharing. Kimmie of Blue Paper Lanterns, and Lindsay of Lindsay Living organized a bloggers picnic and I was lucky enough to be invited.

Of course, being Seattle, it was a cool, wet day—but that didn’t stop us. If people in Seattle waited for the sun, we’d never get anything done. We didn’t have sunshine, but we brightened up the skyline with our colorful, stylish outfits.
We had a lot of fun sharing ideas about thrifting, photography, and website technology. We ate, drank and exchanged email, twitter names and blog URLs. It was a great chance to meet like-minded women. Looks like the start of something good.

I’m so glad you were able to come with a last minute invite! It was so lovely meeting you. We definitely have to ll get together and do something again, like a thrift day! And I’m still craving that cupcake we split. Hahah, “You won’t take it the wrong way if I split a gay cupcake with you?” Hilarious!
