What is going on? I live in a moderate climate but once a year we’re reminded about how the rain isn’t so bad. When it snows, Seattle shuts down. Hills galore and nary a plow or salt truck in sight. The cars don’t rust but they might get smashed to bits sliding down the street on days like this.

That’s why I stayed home. I got a lot of work done sitting in my home office all alone without distractions. So it wasn’t bad. My dog and cat appreciated the company too.
I have plans to meet my parents in Florida later this week and 80 degree weather never sounded so nice. I just hope the roads clear so I can get to the airport!
On a clothing-related note, I finally got to mix red and pink today. I’ve wanted to do that for a while. Strawberry Shortcake did it in the ’80s, and I’m doing it now.
