I bought this striped t-shirt at Mexx when I was in Vancouver a month ago. Mexx is a neat store but they aren’t in the USA–so I make sure to visit when I go to Canada.
I first wore it to dinner with the Mister. White jeans seem to dress up a T and make colors pop.

Later, I wore it with denim shorts for a more casual look. I like to get a lot of use out of my clothes and wearing things in different ways is a good way to get mileage without being repetitive.

I think this top would look great with dark denim too or kelly green capri pants. I have a denim pencil skirt that I’ll try this with next.

I didn’t know that Mexx wasn’t in the US. Interesting.
I usually wear t-shirts with patterned skirts. It’s more casual than wearing a blouse.
I was wrong! I went to their site and they do have at least one location in NYC. It’s still pretty far from Seattle though.
A t-shirt and patterned skirt is a great combo. Fresh and, like you said, not too dressy. I wore that combo today, in fact!
