Last summer, I wore this dress with black accessories. Here, I added more color–mainly because I want to get a bit more use out of my red wedge sandals before the rain hits.
Dress: Sears
Tank: Old Navy
Belt: Nordstrom
Cuff: Claire’s
Necklace: eBay
Shoes: Chelsea Crew
To keep things from getting too matchy-matchy, I added a white belt and black necklace.
I call this gold, but it’s got greenish undertones. It’s almost chartreuse. Not quite mustard. I don’t really know what you’d call this (any ideas?) but I liked it when I saw it on the clearance rack in Sears.
One thing I haven’t done is winterize it. I’m going to try to wear this as a tunic with skinny jeans soon. Any chance I can get to turn dresses into top, I’ll take. I think I have a disproportionate amount of pants and skirts. I probably need more tops and fewer bottoms.
Do you have an ideal ratio of tops to bottoms?
