I just adored the color of these tights when I saw them in the store recently. I decided to wear them with earth tones.
Cardigan: Smart set
Top: Swapped
Skirt: Red Light Vintage
Cuff: Lauren Harkness
Tights: Fred Meyer
Shoes: Frye via swapped
The tights stand out because of their high value (i.e.: brightness) but they still go with the orange and browns in the skirt.
Nothing in this outfit is a true match but I think it goes together nicely.
I’ve been lusting after purple tights too (among other colors) but whenever I’m in the store, I forget what I already have so I don’t want to buy more until I do a tights inventory count. Do you wear colorful tights? What are your favorite shades?
Those mustard colored tights are so cute. Love that color.
Love how you’ve combined these colours!! I’m sure it helps that you are an artist, blending shades of paint on a palette when you are creating your masterpieces.
I bought some purple tights but haven’t worn them yet. I hear you on the importance of doing an inventory check–I have bought things I already have!
The tights look lovely with that outfit. It’s not immediately obvious that they would look good but they do! And I love those shoes.
I love them! I’ve sadly just had to throw away three pair of yellow tights.
Aw 😦 Time for replacement tights! I know how you love color. You would rock any shade.
So adorable. I love everything about this outfit. I especially love the mustard tights and the cool chevron vintage skirt. I absolutely love sweater tights! Hue makes the best ones I have bought so far. I found some purple sweater tights at H&M. They had a lot of great colors, but unfortunately, I don’t think they’re going to last too long. I also bought an off white pair that day and they got holes in them the first day I wore them:(
Thanks Lilly! I love tights too. I prefer the thicker cotton one because they are soft and last longer. These are nylon so I’m hoping I don’t snag them anytime soon. I’m looking for an off-white replacement but I don’t want hem to last one day!
