Flirty Red Jacket

I featured this jacket close to a year ago when I wore it to a Thanksgiving dinner. Here it is, this time with a dress.

Jacket: Lulu’s
Dress: Swapped
Tank: Target
Necklace: Gifted
Ring: Street fair in Florida
Boots: Borrowed

I bought this jacket with credit I had from a return at Lulu’s. I’d ordered a pair of pumps from them and the heel broke on my very first wear! I was so bummed, but Lulu’s righted the wrong, no questions asked. What great customer service!

I thought the red was a nice way to add color to my monochromatic outfit. Plus, it’s cooler now and I welcome long sleeves. My dress is a nice, striped knit. It’s a bit warm for summer but it has short sleeves and is chilly in winter. Maybe that’s why it ended up at a clothing exchange.

I’ll be looking for more ways to wear my red jacket over the winter. It’s versatile. It would look good with jeans, a mini, or just about anything.

Is there an item for fall that you’d like to get more wear out of?

Oh, I’m joining Style SessionsThrifters Anonymous and Monday Bloom today. Have a look at what everyone else is wearing.

I really like the vertical stripes on your dress!

  2. Great outfit and looks good with boots. Love that jacket and I’m sure you can dress it down with denim.

  3. I love this outfit, Jean! I have a little red, short-sleeved jacket/vest that I always wear over my long, black and white horizontal-striped tank top with black pants. It’s a great contrast color 🙂

  4. tks for linking up
