When I was in New York, I met Lois Eastlund, a wonderful designer, at a pop-up shop. I bought two of her dresses. The first, a mint green scooter dress, I shared with you already, but I was saving the other one for a special occasion.
Dress: Lois Eastlund
Tights: Betsey Johnson
Pleather boots: Kelly & Katie (via DSW)
Cuff: Rogue City Killers
Bag: Alchemy Goods
I thought the recent vegan wine and cheese tasting I attended would be a great chance to debut the second dress.
I love the zigzag color-blocking (the back, which I neglected to capture, is a straight seam) and the colors of this dress. I’ll be able to wear it with plain tights, bare legs and heels, or with sandals.
It’s tights season so I went with a patterned pair. At the party, someone noted that the pattern on my tights is zigzagged too. I think it works, even though I wasn’t trying to be that coordinated.
Or maybe I was! I wore a recycled rubber cuff and I carried a recycled rubber purse.
I’ve joined Visible Monday at Not Dead Yet and I’m catching up with Passion for Fashion at Lenaย B. Actually. Check out what all the other bloggers are wearing!
I like the retro feel of this dress. Cute with your boots and fun accessories. You look great in so many styles!
blue hue wonderland
Thanks Ann! The retro feel is partly why I loved this dress when I saw it. I thought it saw a fresh take on a 60s-style shift.
This panel dress is so slimming and very flattering. I think it’ll look good without the leggings too for warmer weather ๐

I agree! I’ll wear this in summer with a wedge-heeled sandal too! Can’t wait for warmer weather! Thanks for stopping by!
Love that dress and tights! Super cute. Was fun seeing you Saturday night and I hope you know I’m still enjoying your blog even though I’ve turned fickle with comments.
I’m glad I got to see you on Saturday too, Miss Fancy Hat! I’m glad you’re still enjoying the blog. Commenting takes time, so don’t worry. Just tell me what you think when I see you in person!
WOW!!! You look stunning!! The dress is mod and looks fabulous with the fancy knit tights! Reminds me of the German knee socks, but in a classy tights version, sexy with the boots! You’ll get lots of different looks with this unique designer dress.
I love your hair!
Thank you! You saw me try the dress on when I bought it but the boots really change up the look, don’t they? The tights are like the German knee socks I used to have, but dressier! Oh, I straightened my hair for the occasion. I like the effect too. I should put effort into it more often ๐
What a great design! I really like this pattern and it looks great on you, you have a lovely figure!
Hugs
Beata
Thank you! I really liked the design when I saw it too. And with the color divide, it’s figure-flattering!
You’re hot. ๐
Aw, thanks! Credit goes to this flattering dress!
It’s a different look for you … or one that we don’t see often, and I love it as much as I do everything else we see on you! Very sleek, so youthful and current … perfect touch, those tights!
Thanks for your sweet comments! It is a different look for me. I did my hair differently too so I think that’s part of it.
